awk.word presents: nataly aukar in dublin-liberty hall february 19th

nataly aukar is a lebanese born and raised stand-up comic, writer and performer based in nyc. as a stand-up, nataly has toured the world, opening for comedians such as ramy youssef (ramy), mo amer (mo, black adam), and gad elmaleh (huge in france) and was just featured in netflix’s “introducing” showcase at the netflix is a joke festival in 2022 (see here). she also starred, alongside succession’s hiam abbas, in noa osheroff’s short film “sofa so good” which was featured in the new yorker. nataly is currently touring her hour-long set “i always hated you,” after debuting the show to a sold out audience at the 2022 new york comedy festival.

there are few heavy metal bands that have managed to scale the heights that judas priest have during their nearly 50-year career. their presence and influence remains at an all-time high as evidenced by 2018’s ‘firepower’ being the highest charting album of their career, a 2010 grammy award win for ‘best metal performance’, plus being a 2006 vh1 rock honors recipient and a 2017 rock and roll hall of fame nomination.

solo artists, sarabeth and glen mitchell have united to create the harmonious force known as royal south. rooted in nashville, tennessee, these texas and london natives have captured the interest of esteemed producer paul worley, recognized for his work with artists like dixie chicks, lady antebellum, the band perry, and martina mcbride, among others.

jason byrne 3olympia theatre april 13th

meet jason byrne, a walking calamity of nature. throughout his life marked by mishaps, jason has undergone extensive reconstruction. parts removed, metal pins inserted, a new knee, and an eye treated by the medical profession like a game of pong over the years. the pinnacle of this journey was reached last year with not one but two heart surgeries. apparently, he enjoyed it so much that he went back for more.

twelve angry men bord gais energy theatre april 19th

“twelve angry men has been hailed ‘the classiest, most intelligent drama playing on the west end’. it brings the 1957 three-time academy award nominated film, considered one of the great ‘must-sees’ of all time, to the stage.”
