If you’re heading to the 3Arena or even Croke park? Then it makes perfect sense you’ll be taking the famous First Dates glass lifts all the way to the gibson’s hemi bar. There’ll you’ll be more than likely sampling our rocking new cocktail offerings. Keep it old school with an old fashioned made with 1 Woodford reserve bourbon, angostura bitters, orange bitters & sugar stirred over ice. Shake it up baby with an espresso martini Smirnoff vodka shaken with a Kahlua, a shot of espresso & sugar syrup. You may even find yourself ordering two! As you may have already noticed the gibson has recently appointed new bar management team; Adrian Foy as bar manager and Andrew Brady as assistant bar manager.
Bringing strong bar game to the hemi team both have plied their trade in a plethora of bars and venues. Having worked in Novotel/Ibis Hotels in the bustling bar scene of Abu Dhabi for over 4 years, Adrian brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to the gibson from his time working in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. While Andrew joins the gibson from his role as assistant bar manager in the Crown Plaza Hotel Dublin Northwood, where he rose up quickly through the ranks while graduating from the company’s trainee management programme and also gaining his qualifications in hotel management from DIT Cathal Brugha street. It’s safe to say that both Adrian and Andrew will look after the gibson’s hemi bar and make your concert night a guaranteed stormer.
